“I hid because I heard them talking about you upstairs.” Her eyes, sparkling with intelligence, shone brightly, contrasting with her dirty clothes. “They said that…” 😱😱
A voice, sharp and commanding, pierced the silence in the parking lot, cutting the air like a knife. Jonathan Miller froze, keys in hand, not yet entering his black car. The order came directly from within his car.
His eyes slowly adjusted to the dim light and he noticed a little girl, about 7 years old, curled up in the back seat with a look of fear in her eyes. 😱
“They’re listening,” she whispered, pointing a finger at the imposing company building behind him. “Your partner and his blonde.” 😱
“They said you’d be here at exactly this time.”
Jonathan, 52, never imagined his life would change because of a street kid who built his business from scratch.
He had complete confidence in Marcus, his partner of 15 years, and Diana, his long-time executive assistant.
“How did you end up in my car?” he asked, slowly getting behind the wheel. “The cleaning lady left it unlocked when she left.”
“I hid because I heard them talking about you upstairs.” Her eyes, sparkling with intelligence, shone brightly, contrasting with her dirty clothes. “They said that…” 😱😱😱

Jonathan stood there, transfixed, the tension in the air electric. The little girl, hidden in the shadow of the car, Seemed to harbor a heavy secret, a burden that even her youth couldn’t hide.
“Tell me what they want?” he asked, his voice becoming more insistent, more urgent.
The girl lowered her head slightly, her fingers nervously playing with the sleeve of her dirty coat. “They want to take over Miller Industries, sir. They’re talking about overthrowing you. So you’ll fall, not realizing what’s happening to you.”
Jonathan felt a wave of heat rise in his throat. It was impossible. Not Marcus, his loyal partner. Not Diana, his trusted advisor. These were the ones he trusted with everything. His thoughts became confused as the girl continued.
“I know they’ve already arranged a meeting for tomorrow. Marcus will announce your departure. Diana supports this plan.” Her eyes, though full of childish innocence, gleamed with icy determination.

“But why are you warning me?” he asked, a note of disbelief in his voice. “Why you? Where did you get this information?”
She shrugged indifferently. “I listen. And I see things adults try to hide. Secrets never stay secrets.”
Jonathan clenched his fists, his mind racing. “What do I do now?”
She looked at him, a mysterious glint in her eyes. “Act before they make their next move. If you wait too long, it will be too late.”
