Millions of fans around the world mourned when Ozzy, 76, passed away in July. The legendary “Prince of Darkness” was given a funeral procession through his hometown of Birmingham, and well-wishers from across the globe sent condolences. In a recent episode of The Osbournes podcast, Sharon shared a voicemail Trump left her shortly after her husband’s passing.
Ozzy was laid to rest on July 30 after a long battle with Parkinson’s disease. Sharon stayed out of the spotlight for months, grieving privately. In October, her son Jack appeared on Good Morning America, explaining that while his mother was “OK,” she was still deeply hurting — though comforted by the overwhelming love from fans.

World leaders also reached out to Sharon after Ozzy’s death.
In the new podcast episode, Jack plays the voicemail from Donald Trump, in which the former president expresses sympathy:
“Hi Sharon, it’s Donald Trump… Ozzy was amazing — unique and incredibly talented… I know how close you were. Whatever I can do, take care of yourself and say hello to the family.”

Hearing it brought Sharon to tears. She and Trump had known one another since she appeared on The Celebrity Apprentice in 2010.
Sharon said she appreciated the gesture and put politics aside, noting: “When it comes to politics, nobody wins. All I know is the man I worked with — he and Melania were gracious, respectful, always kind.”

She added that Trump consistently treated her and her children with warmth over the years.
Jack concluded simply: “Love him or hate him, he didn’t have to call.”
