An 80s pop star has worried fans after revealing he was rushed to A&E following a live performance, posting unsettling photos from his hospital bed.

The 61-year-old musician appeared to be in visible discomfort in the images, lying in a hospital gown and connected to a cannula. The singer was later identified as Nathan Moore, who rose to fame in the mid-1980s as a member of the pop group Brother Beyond.

In a heartfelt message shared alongside the photos, Moore apologised to fans for having to perform while seated during his recent show in Martigues, explaining that his condition worsened after the gig and led to an overnight hospital stay.
He wrote: “Please excuse me for dancing while sitting on a chair in Martigues. Sadly, after the show, I spent the night in hospital. I hope to be recovered in time for Montpellier, but I won’t be able to dance. My apologies in advance. A huge thank you to the wonderful medical team in Martigues for their kindness.”

After being discharged and making his way home, Moore offered another update, admitting things were still difficult. “The journey home was an experience,” he said. “Thank you all for being so understanding about my stage performances. I’m really struggling right now and honestly don’t know what next week will bring.”
Fans quickly flooded the comments with messages of concern and encouragement. One wrote, “So sorry to hear this — wishing you a speedy recovery.” Another added, “Please take care, Nathan. Even if you can’t dance, hearing you sing is more than enough.” A third simply said, “Get well soon and take it easy.”

Nathan Moore first achieved success with Brother Beyond, best known for their 1988 hit The Harder I Try. He later went on to be part of the 1990s boyband Worlds Apart.
