The 2026 Winter Olympics kicked off in style, and on the very first night it was clear that this year the competition will not only be about the athletes’ performances, but also about the style in the stands. Celebrities of all kinds arrived for the opening ceremony. There were actors, singers, designers and even members of royal families.
Supermodel Vittoria Ceretti (27) attracted a lot of attention , carrying the Italian flag during the opening ceremony. In a long white dress by Giorgio Armani (†91), Italy had a representative at the beginning, of which her partner Leonardo DiCaprio (51) is certainly proud , who, despite his physical absence, managed to take his place in the model’s short medallion.

During the broadcast, the presenter said: “Representing the new generation of fashion, internationally renowned model Vittoria Ceretti. Her relationship with Leonardo DiCaprio became public in 2023.” Meanwhile, Ceretti walked around the San Siro stadium with her hair in a low bun, alongside other models in models matching the colors of the Italian flag.
Meanwhile, the red carpet offered a parade of famous names. Usher arrived in a full denim outfit complete with a Team USA jacket. Donatella Versace (70) welcomed guests in a red dress and smiled, reminding them that although Versace is a symbol of Italian fashion, Giorgio Armani is in charge of the official outfits of the Italian team this year.

Actor Stanley Tucci, known not only from the film The Devil Wears Prada but also from the travel show All the Flavors of Italy, chose a simple and inconspicuous combination that perfectly fit the atmosphere of the evening.
Among the guests were representatives of the royal families. Princess Anne (75) , who has Olympic experience herself, was not absent. Her husband, Sir Timothy Laurence, was also present, as were Grand Duke Henri of Luxembourg and Prince Albert of Monaco. Princess Catharina-Amalia of the Netherlands (22) arrived alongside her parents, King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima, who also visited our region last year.

The slightly lighter tone was provided by musician Snoop Dogg , this year again in the role of commentator for NBC, a role he has already proven himself in several times. Wearing a fur hat and with his typical perspective, he reminded that the Olympics do not have to be only serious and festive, but in his presentation they can also be fun.
