The 59-year-old Stranger Things star sported Apple headphones over her messy, unkempt hair, with her choppy bangs falling over her eyes. Large black sunglasses partially concealed her face, adding to the unusual look.
Ryder layered multiple pieces, including a checkered sweater, a dark crew-neck sweatshirt, and a black jacket. She paired the top layers with loose-fitting black cuffed pants and completed the ensemble with black leather boots. The actress appeared makeup-free as she clutched a tablet and water bottle to her chest, while a sleek black leather purse hung over her shoulder.

In a September 2024 interview with AnOther magazine, Ryder reflected on how her identity helped shield her from unwanted attention in Hollywood. She seemed to reference the Me Too movement, saying, “With everything that’s happened in the past six years, it takes remembering something and thinking about it happening to someone of the same age you were, like Jenna [Ortega] or Sadie [Sink], and it’s like, ‘Five-alarm fire, not OK!’” She continued, “Everything back then was always, ‘You’re so sensitive, he’s just kidding. Get a sense of humor.’ I always felt lucky that I was considered kind of a weirdo for enough time… I was still around really inappropriate behavior, but I felt like my identity protected me in a way.”

Ryder later attended Balenciaga’s Paris Fashion Week show on Saturday, stepping out in a slouchy brown pantsuit that exuded chic sophistication. She layered a button-up black shirt underneath the tailored co-ord and added black boots to complete the slightly masculine yet stylish look. Her brunette hair was styled in soft, tousled waves.
She was accompanied by her longtime boyfriend, fashion designer Scott Mackinlay Hahn. The pair first met at the Black Swan premiere in 2010 and began dating the following year. In a 2022 interview, Ryder revealed that Hahn initially mistook her for Milla Jovovich, telling her he loved her performance in The Fifth Element.

Ryder also shared that she appreciates Hahn being outside the entertainment industry, saying, “We connected on so many levels. But it was amazing that he’s not in this business… I really did try to keep it quiet.”
