Rachael Leigh Cook had fans of ’90s rom-coms doing a double take during a rare Los Angeles outing on Friday, looking remarkably youthful.
The She’s All That star, now 46, sported a casual Mickey Mouse T-shirt paired with black biker shorts for a relaxed coffee run, her dark hair loosely tied in a ponytail. Even with sunglasses on, her unmistakable movie-star presence shone through, evoking memories of her roles in The Baby-Sitters Club and Josie and the Pussycats.

This low-key appearance comes just weeks after Cook went red carpet official with Superman actor Brandon Routh. The couple, first spotted together in July 2025, attended the 2026 Elton John AIDS Foundation Annual Academy Awards Viewing Party in March. They were also seen quietly at the Los Angeles special screening of Slanted earlier that month.

Their romance traces back at least to February, when they were spotted at HomeGrown in Des Moines, Iowa, posing for photos with staff. The restaurant shared a playful post calling Routh “Superman” and praising Cook as “She’s All That in our book.”
Cook was previously married to Daniel Gillies from 2004 until their 2021 divorce, and they share two children: daughter Charlotte, 12, and son Theodore, 11. Routh, meanwhile, split from Courtney Ford in January 2025, with whom he shares 13-year-old son Leo.

Despite past heartbreak, Cook has said she remains “totally open” to marriage in the future. In a 2022 interview with People, she described herself as a “full-tilt romantic” and added that while she’d approach future relationships more cautiously because of her children, she wouldn’t rule out marrying again. On expanding her family, she admitted she’s unsure, noting she wants to make such decisions “with eyes wide open” while keeping her spontaneous side in check.
