If you have a refrigerator at home that has long served its purpose and was about to leave your life, do not rush to throw it away or sell it. I made an irreplaceable thing for the dacha out of it. I am showing what I got, maybe you will want the same.

One of my neighbors turned out to be a real jack of all trades and instead of throwing away his old refrigerator, he decided to turn it into something amazing and useful.
When I saw what came out of it, I was immediately inspired to make the same for myself! Would you have thought that an old refrigerator could be transformed into something so practical?
If you have a refrigerator at home that has long served its purpose and is about to leave your life, do not rush to throw it away or sell it! This old unit can become a great helper at the dacha. Here is how to give a second life to your refrigerator:

Start by removing all unnecessary elements: shelves, insides, etc., leaving only a solid metal frame and door. Next, remove the freezer and make a hole for the pipe to ensure good air circulation.
Then, do not rush to remove the doors, but make neat holes in them to install the glass. The glass is securely fixed in place, and for additional insulation, you can add a layer of foam. Then heat it with a burner so that it fits tightly to the surface.
Now, at the final stage, you need to close all the holes with a fine metal mesh. This will ensure good air exchange, but will prevent insects from getting inside.

And here is the result: a homemade solar dryer that is great for drying fruits, vegetables, meat, fish and other products.
This simple, but extremely effective and practical project turns an old refrigerator into an indispensable item for the dacha. Try it, maybe you will find it useful too!
