It is believed that it is impossible to transform a completely dilapidated house. Especially in a short time. But the story of these users makes you believe: major repairs are possible, the main thing is to manage resources correctly.

It all started when a husband and wife bought a dilapidated country house, completely unfit for habitation, for a small sum. How the previous owners lived in it is a mystery. Instead of a floor, the house had ordinary dirt, the wallpaper was peeling off, and the ceiling was ready to collapse.

The new owners changed the utilities in all the rooms. The walls were painted a pleasant grey, the ceilings were replaced with suspended ones, and the floor was leveled and covered with linoleum. The owners also changed the baseboards and installed new radiators. So the rooms began to look much more decent.

The doors in the house were also replaced, and the plastic windows were thoroughly cleaned. Some of the furniture was thrown out, and what was in good condition was redone.
This is how a real Scandinavian coziness was created in the living room, bedroom and kitchen.

The bathroom was in for a major makeover. The plumbing was replaced with modern ones, a sink and a large cabinet under it were installed. The windows were covered with convenient roller blinds. It’s hard to believe, but the entire renovation cost the new owners about 5,000 euros!
