Welcome to the home of carpenter Kaylee and boat builder Jason!
They bought the boat six years ago, renovated it and now live on it.
Now they are showing off a stunning interior.
Jason explained that he found the boat by accident.
Jason, a professional boat builder, and Kaylee, a carpenter, paid just under $6,000 for the boat, which is about 60,000 Swedish kronor.
He estimates they spent about $40,000 on building materials and labor hours.
— There was a lot of work on the outside of the boat. We did this project entirely ourselves and put our hearts and souls into it.
The couple have now been living on the boat for several years, and Jason describes it as a truly wonderful experience. He especially likes the closeness to nature.
“I came here to study shipbuilding, but I’ve ended up living on the water for six years now. It’s been wonderful. I think it’s something that gets into the blood.
“To be able to wake up and see the light, the tides, the wind on the surface of the water and know what the day is going to be like. It’s really incredible,” he says.
The boat is about nine meters long and almost four meters wide. It is truly amazing inside.
When you step inside, you are greeted by a bright kitchen:
A small but comfortable bathroom is located next to the kitchen.
The bedroom is located on the top floor.
And on the roof you can sunbathe and enjoy the picturesque views. Amazing, isn’t it?
