How to make a basket?
1️⃣ Create a base
Take a plastic basket and trace its bottom on cardboard. Cut out the resulting circle or oval – this will become the base of the future basket.
2️⃣ Start laying out the lids
Glue the lids onto the cardboard in a spiral, starting from the center. Try to place them evenly and tightly to each other to create a neat pattern.
3️⃣ Form the walls
Place a plastic basket inside our blank and start laying out the lids in rows up, alternating them diagonally or creating patterns. You can use lids of different sizes to create a wicker effect.
4️⃣ Final stage
When the whole structure is ready, carefully remove the plastic basket that served as a form. If you want to make the product even more original, you can paint it or decorate it with colored paper.
