In the very heart of Warsaw, lost between two massive buildings, there is a tiny house, no more than 122 centimeters wide. At first glance, you might not even notice it, but that is what makes Keret House unique.
The author of this unusual architectural experiment was the Polish architect Jacob Szczesny. One day he noticed a tiny space between houses and thought: why not turn it into a living space?
This is how the idea of creating the narrowest house in the world was born, which was later recognized as an architectural landmark.
But this house was not built just as a curious project, but for a special person – the writer Etgar Keret

His fate was not easy: he was born in a Jewish ghetto during World War II, and later his family was forced to leave their homeland and emigrate to Israel.
Keret House is a true work of architectural minimalism. The frame is made of metal, and instead of the usual entrance door, there is a leading hatch inside.
Despite its tiny size (at its narrowest point it is only 72 centimeters!), the house managed to accommodate everything necessary:

- kitchen,
- bathroom
- workplace
- bedroom.
Living in such a house is a real challenge: it is impossible to be alone here, and every move requires caution. But this is what makes it special – secluded, intimate, ideal for creative people.

Today, Keret House is open to everyone: any artist, writer or musician can try living here, immersing themselves in an atmosphere of solitude and minimalism.
And for tourists, excursions are organized – you can look inside this architectural wonder for only 15 zlotys.
