Burger King Pays for Their Wedding
Joel Burger and Ashley King are a couple from New Berlin, Illinois. They have known each other since kindergarten. Burger is a grain inspector and King is a graduate student, SIA reports . They announced last week that they are getting married.
News of the upcoming “Burger-King” wedding reached Burger King, who contacted the couple via Skype to congratulate them and offer their best wishes.
And made a stunning announcement that she would pay for all the wedding expenses!
“When Burger King Corporation learned about the upcoming wedding, we immediately decided to take part in such an event,” said a company employee. “It was fate that they found each other, and their story reached us.”
According to Burger and King, they were literally stunned by the generosity of Burger King Corporation.
“All we want in return is for them to live happily ever after,” the company said. “And maybe for them to name their first child Chicken Fry,” the company joked.
