An apartment in the very center of Paris was empty for almost 70 years 😲 No one knew what was hidden behind this door and who the owner of this home was 😱 When after so much time people finally entered this apartment, they were shocked by what they saw 🤔

They expected it to be an ordinary house with old furniture and a thick layer of dust, but reality turned out to be more interesting 😱😱 The continuation was told in the first comment 👇👇

Imagine: in the heart of Paris, in a busy area , there is a mysterious apartment. No footsteps have been heard behind its door since 1939

When the auctioneer first turned the antique key in the rusty lock, he expected to see a typical picture of the times: a thick layer of dust, dried spiders, peeling walls. But he could not even imagine that he would witness one of the most amazing discoveries in his life.

This apartment belonged to Madame de Florian .Madame left it young – she was only 23 when the war began. In 1939 ,fleeing from the advancement German troops, she hurriedly closed the door, took only the bare necessities and fled to the south of the country.

But the most amazing thing is that Madame continued to pay the rent regularlyFor decades And none of her relatives knew about the existence of this apartment.

She died in 2010 at the age of 91 without telling anyone about the apartment .

It was only after her death that the heirs came across the property in the documents and approached the auctioneers. And when the door was finally opened, everyone froze.

Furniture from the early 20th century, polished but covered in dust. The kitchen, neatly furnished with porcelain with the finest patterns.

table with bottles of perfume, dried lipsticks and hairbrushes On the walls are traces of paintings that seemed to have been taken down in a hurry.

And it was among these paintings that the auctioneers discovered a gem – a portrait of a young woman in a pink dress. It turned out that the painting was of Madame de Florian’s grandmother captured on canvas at the age of 24 .

The portrait itself is the work of Giovanni Boldini, famous Italian artist .

After examination it was confirmed that the painting was painted in 1888 and was perfectly preserved. When it was put up for auction, the bids skyrocketed The final amount was more than million dollars.

What prompted Madame de Florian to continue paying the rent? Why did she never return? It remains a mystery.
