Sean Stevenson was born on May 5, 1979 in Chicago, and in the first minutes of his life, doctors made a terrible diagnosis – osteogenesis imperfecta.
This rare genetic disorder makes bones extremely fragile. Doctors were sure that the boy would not survive even three days. But Sean defied fate from the very first second of his existence.
During the first 18 years of his life, he suffered about 200 fractures. He is only 90 centimeters tall and weighs 47 kilograms. Outwardly, he seems fragile and vulnerable, but behind this appearance lies a truly titanic willpower.
Since childhood, every day of his life was accompanied by pain – physical and mental. But despite this, he managed to turn his suffering into strength.
