Tragic Twist: Influencer Duchess Dior and Husband’s Heartbreaking Ordeal Unfolds

A tragic case unfolded in Twin City, Georgia, where a couple was found dead amid a series of disturbing events that authorities are still piecing together. The situation escalated quickly after a social media plea for help, followed by a fatal incident during a police traffic stop.

According to the Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI), the events began around 9:30 p.m. on Saturday, June 14. Officers responded to a domestic disturbance call in Emanuel County and discovered 27-year-old Zaria Khadejah Carr unconscious at her home. She was later declared dead, with an autopsy pending.

Her husband, 36-year-old Shamarcus Jameal Carr, was missing from the scene along with their 2021 Dodge Challenger. Both were located later that night in Wayne County.

During an attempted traffic stop by the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office, Shamarcus reportedly shot himself inside the vehicle. He was rushed to a hospital but did not survive his injuries.

Sources familiar with the couple revealed they were social media influencers. Shamarcus, known as “The Frenchman” on Facebook, had 44,000 followers and shared content as a French bulldog breeder. Zaria, known as “The Dutchess Dior,” appeared in maternity photos on his page and managed her own account with 35,000 followers.

Their last social media activity was on June 14. Zaria’s final posts included a desperate plea: “I really don’t know what to do .. but i need help before i lose my life or freedom! My kids need me!” In the comments, she acknowledged the severity of the situation.

Meanwhile, Shamarcus went live on Facebook around 7:43 p.m., airing grievances about infidelity in their relationship. The live video, which features both him and Zaria arguing, ended abruptly after about seven and a half minutes.

GBI investigators confirmed awareness of the couple’s social media pages but have not verified the accounts’ ownership. Additionally, reports indicate that Shamarcus had a criminal history, including five years in prison for aggravated assault, firearms, and drug offenses dating back to 2012.
