Kate Middleton Goes Blonde: Princess of Wales Photographed with Husband and Children in Scotland

Kate Middleton, 43, who is rumoured to have lost weight after her cancer recurred, has appeared in public for the first time with her new, lighter hair colour. The Princess of Wales was snapped by paparazzi on her way to church in Scotland with other members of the royal family.

In the pictures, Kate is sitting in the passenger seat of a Range Rover next to her 43-year-old husband, Prince William. The couple’s children, 12-year-old Crown Prince George, 10-year-old Princess Charlotte and seven-year-old Prince Louis, are seated in the back. The Sunday service at Crathie Kirk, where the family was heading, was also attended by King Charles III of Great Britain and Queen Camilla.

Kate’s hair, which she revealed in 2024 that she was battling cancer , is even lighter than it was during her recent visit to the Early Years Centre . For many years, the Princess of Wales favoured her natural blonde shade, but it has been noticeably lighter in recent months.

British psychologist Caroline Mair told Fox News Digital that Kate may want to feel “brighter and more energetic”, noting that hair is part of our personality.

“Hair is our greatest pride and a symbol of health and femininity. Perhaps Kate will want to start life anew and look at it more optimistically,” Mair said.
