The funeral of a little girl turned into a terrible and inexplicable event, which everyone present talked about for a long time.
Relatives, neighbors, and friends of the family gathered at the cemetery. It was a sunny day, the wind rustled softly—everything was the same as at hundreds of other funerals. People cried quietly, the priest read a prayer, and the gravediggers prepared to lower the small coffin into the ground. It seemed that nothing foreshadowed trouble.
But the moment the coffin was in the hole, the earth suddenly began to move. Dozens of snakes began to crawl out of the fresh sand. They slithered along the coffin, wrapped around the edges, hissed and raised their heads, as if guarding it.
Several women screamed and retreated, the men tried to disperse the reptiles, but then something even more frightening appeared – black scorpions. They crawled out of cracks in the ground, gathering around the coffin, as if drawn by an invisible force.

When the truth was revealed, it became clear: there was no mysticism here. But the impression from that day remained with everyone for a long time. Those who saw how living creatures literally surrounded the small coffin, still remember that moment with a shudder.
