It was located on an old street in a half-abandoned part of town. But when I came in for the interview, I was shocked: inside, everything looked lavish, rich, and almost extravagant. They hired me immediately, no questions asked.
But from the very first day, I noticed something strange. Suspicious-looking people came in: expensive suits, cold stares. Sometimes they didn’t even order anything — they just sat for a few minutes and then left.
Stranger still, the kitchen kept sending me spotless plates to wash. I had seen the chefs cooking mountains of food, but most of it ended up in the trash bins.
