Alithia Thoburn, 20, of Bristol, UK, revealed that she has no regrets about her rash decision to have a face tattoo, despite being labelled “stupid” and “a criminal” by those around her. She has loved the art form since she was eight years old.
Her fiancé, Jonathan Saunders, 37, was tattooing Alithia’s arm when they decided to proceed with the work. The ultimate result is a thick line that extends all the way to her face and merges in with the other images.
Although the critics continue to complain that the girl “ruined her face,” Alithia likes the tattoo, which resembles a brush stroke.
“I don’t understand why people equate tattoos with the criminal life. For me, they can represent something positive, such as a great occasion. I’m lucky to have a tattoo on my face. “I didn’t think about it, but I have no regrets,” adds the British woman.
Thoburn got her first tattoo at the age of fourteen. She purchased everything she needed for her job online. She finished her training at the age of 18 and currently works in an Oxfordshire studio.
In May 2023, Alithia chose to have her first facial tattoo. She had been thinking about it for a long time, but her attention was initially drawn to the rest of her body. When she came to Jonathan for a session, he suddenly proposed, “Why don’t we get a face tattoo?”
Alithia then applied floral motifs to the tattoo to “make it look more feminine.”
The girl is frequently informed that she has damaged her appearance and that no one will want to be with her.
She said, “Let them think I’ll regret my tattoos. “I don’t care what they think.”
One elderly woman even challenged Alithia, “What the hell did you do to your face?” before labeling her a “stupid bitch.”
The British woman intends to cover her entire body in ink so that the designs blend into one large picture.
She explained, “It will be a one-piece suit, and we are already in the works. I enjoy improving on my appearance. I have no regrets because otherwise I would not be me.
