Marsha Elle became an amputee shortly after birth due to an uncommon disease known as PPFD. The singer-songwriter, bionic model, and speaker has one objective in mind: “to deliver the message of hope through music.” In a society when public appearance is everything, Marsha’s fears led her to believe the world would reject her gift. Despite this, she remained optimistic and overcome her concerns, all while encouraging others to be themselves.
Marsha Elle’s childhood was not an easy ride.

Marsha Elle used to hide in the hallway and arrive late to class in order to avoid her peers’ nasty messages and disapproving stares. The children would wonder, “Why do you walk like that?” yet it wasn’t just their words that made her feel uneasy; she also knew that, despite everything, she was giving her all, yet it wasn’t enough.
On hot summer days, she would cover her prosthetic by wearing long jackets. Marsha needed some time to realize that doing her best was more than enough. Today, she confidently walks along runways, models for various clothing lines, and puts her struggles into songs.
She took her own experience and became an example for others.

Marsha Elle found it difficult as a child to find models who resembled her. To remedy this, she took matters into her own hands, becoming the exact role model she required. She receives several letters of encouragement from others who can connect to her tale, which inspires her to face her worries and uncertainties with courage and confidence.
Music keeps her going when other things bring her down.

Marsha’s initial meeting with other amputees her age was life-changing. Inspired, she penned the song Unlimbted, citing music as the saving grace that kept her spirits up and cheerful. Marsha Elle now uses music to communicate her message of hope to others.
