The mother did not believe the officer and dug up the fresh grave of her soldier son: when the coffin opened, people froze in horror

The mother did not believe the officer and dug up the fresh grave of her soldier son: when the coffin opened, people froze in horror 😱😱

At night, a rustling sound could be heard in the suburbs, as if someone was messing with the earth. In an abandoned cemetery, two men were slowly and carefully digging up a fresh grave. Not far from them sat a woman with a tired face.

The woman could not accept that her son was no more. The official reason was a heart attack – that’s what the military commissar said. But the mother’s heart told her otherwise.

The doubts grew when pneumonia was listed as the cause on the birth certificate. Then the son’s friend noticed a mistake on the birth plate: the birth date did not match. Little things that others would not have noticed became signs for the mother.

She knew there would be no peace until she saw for herself. At the risk of being caught, she hired two homeless people and decided to do the impossible – open the coffin at night.

The shovels hit the ground, the tension growing.

“Got it!” shouted one of the diggers.

The coffin appeared from under the ground. Too light.

“He weighed almost 90 kilograms…” the mother whispered.

The men lifted the lid. A click, a crack – and the coffin swung open. Moonlight illuminated the insides… And the three people froze at what they saw…. Continued in the first comment 👇👇

It all started on an ordinary spring day, when there was a knock at the door. A military commissar stood on the threshold.

– Your son is no longer alive. Heart failure. He was buried with military honors in another city…

Her strong son? Died of a heart attack? He never even complained. And then the papers arrived, and they already listed another reason: pneumonia.

Then the son’s friend came from the cemetery. The grave marker had the wrong birth date.

— It says there that he was born in 2000, but it was 1999.

The mother couldn’t calm down. Why wasn’t she allowed to transport the body to her hometown? Why was everything so secretive and hasty?

The mother made up her mind. She hired two homeless people for a modest fee.

Night.

An old cemetery. The scraping of shovels in the silence.

The mother sat on a bench, looking at the ground.

“Got it!” shouted one of the diggers.

The coffin appeared from under the ground. Light. Too light.

“He weighed almost 90 kilograms…” the mother whispered.

The men opened the lid.

THE COFFIN WAS EMPTY.

Those present screamed. The mother… just watched. No tears. No sound.

“I knew…” she whispered. “I knew he was alive.”

The next months were hell. Inspections, complaints, threats from military officials. They kept telling her: “Error”, “Accident”, “Technical failure”.

In fact, as it turned out, the military did not want any extra problems and since the body was not found, but his fellow soldiers saw that he was wounded, they wrote the first diagnosis they came across in the papers and buried the empty coffin.

The military were sure that the soldier was dead.

But the mother waited. She believed that her son was alive.

And so, almost six months later, the phone rank at night.

– Mom… it’s me.

– Son?!

– I was a prisoner… For a long time. But now I’m alive. I’m going home.

She hugged the phone like a child and cried for the first time in all this time.
