One celebrity duo ditched the usual glitz and instead picked up pencils for a playful, romantic evening — drawing portraits of each other over dinner. The smitten pair later posted their creations online, laughing at how wildly different their “masterpieces” turned out.
For Valentine’s Day, they swapped red carpets for sketch pads, enjoying a rare night off from their hectic schedules.
The man’s drawing, done in red, featured a bold beard, intense eyes and thick brows. The woman’s green portrait highlighted feline eyeliner, full lips and a signature parted fringe.
So who are the mystery artists?
One is better known for hosting in the iconic Love Island villa, while the other spends his time commanding the football pitch.
It was none other than Maya Jama and Ruben Dias.
The pair reportedly began dating in late 2024 after meeting at the MTV EMAs in November. Soon after, fans noticed them following each other on social media, and they were later seen out together on New Year’s Eve.
By early December 2024, the relationship had deepened, with the couple spending time together in Spain. They went public in early 2025, making joint appearances — including at a football event in May that year.
Their Valentine’s celebration didn’t stop at dinner and doodles. Maya previously shared the extravagant surprise waiting for her at home: a lavish bouquet of 100 red roses from the Manchester City defender, along with a gift from French luxury house Chanel.
Before her romance with Dias, Maya had been in a high-profile relationship with Stormzy, which ended in summer 2024.
