Tammy Slayton wanted to wear an open dress despite her weight.
Sisters Tammy and Emmy Slayton star in the well-known American reality show “1,000 Pound Sisters,” which follows two females with life-threatening levels of obesity.

They have now turned 34 and 35, respectively. They consented to broadcast their daily lives to millions of people until a few years ago, in the hopes of losing weight and living life to the fullest.
The sisters fought their addictions and themselves for three seasons. Amy was the most successful sister; she is making progress in her weight loss and has applied for surgery.

Amy weighed about 185 kg at the time of filming (and had already lost about 50 kg), while Tammy weighed around 275 kg. She has gained weight and is now close to 300 pounds, in contrast to her sibling. Tammy’s health deteriorated quickly, and she was transferred to an Ohio medical rehabilitation facility that specialized in treating obese individuals.

She is still being treated at the clinic for weight loss and pulmonary problems caused by her obesity. Tammy maintains a strong sense of purpose throughout life. On her social media accounts, she routinely shares hilarious videos, updates her fans on her health, and assures her followers that everything is well.
Tammy first met her fiance, Caleb Willingham, at the treatment facility. That encounter marked the beginning of her sole non-online dating relationship. They had already held a wedding at the hospital where they first met, and the man proposed to her there.
“They can converse with one another about many of the challenges they face. They are now quite helpful to one another. The couple’s acquaintances describe it as fantastic.

Only the bride’s closest friends and family members attended the low-key wedding. This included Amy, the bride’s sister, who had previously married and had a child as a result of her weight loss.
