Teacher summons parents for an urgent meeting.

A six-year-old boy’s drawing and how his teacher reacted to it sparked controversy on the internet, dividing users’ viewpoints.

Specifically, the parents who shared this tale described how the teacher called them one day and told them they needed to come to school for a serious conversation.

Before they went to their son’s school, they questioned him if he had done anything wrong, but he just said that his teacher did not like what he had drawn.

“We went in the next day and his teacher pulled out the drawing and said, ‘I asked him to draw his family and he drew this, would you mind explaining?'” The father shared on social media.

The drawing showed what appeared to be four persons wearing cords around their necks. And, if you don’t know what the youngster was trying to portray, the painting alone is unsettling.

The mother and father said that the snapshot depicted the family diving off the Bahamas.

The father’s post, however, sparked an online debate over whether the teacher’s behavior of notifying them about the artwork was justified.

Some suggested she should have asked the child about it first, but others argued that a six-year-old couldn’t possibly be telling the truth.

“This is bloody hysteria,” one commenter remarked. “Seriously, who needs that drama.”

“Is there an emergency meeting over this? Although the drawing may not be perfect, I believe it is clear. Another user wrote.

“What kind of teacher was this?” another said. “Children are innocent… they take pleasure from innocent drawings.”

Those who supported the teacher’s response stated, “I would want to know, even if it’s a false alarm…” It’s better to be safe than sorry,” and “The teacher made the proper decision. These interventions have saved lives. Seriously.”
